About
Before the numbers, for Filus there was the piano. As a child he played anything by ear, something he still does today; jazz came later, with maturity. In everyday life he works with neural networks — studying them, applying them, he even wrote a book on them — but it's in music that this familiarity with artificial intelligence finds its most intimate side: one more tool to give full shape to his melodies.
The method
Every song is born the same way: Filus sits at the piano and improvises, searches, writes a melody. It's a human moment, imperfect, his own. Sometimes, not always, artificial intelligence comes into play, turning that idea into a complete arrangement — vocals, rhythm, production. The result isn't music generated from nothing, but music completed: a dialogue between the gesture at the piano and what AI can build on top of it, when he chooses to use it.
